Homeopathic Skin Soothers

How often do you get itching, burning skin appearing from nowhere? Or dry flaky skin where it didn’t used to be? I certainly find things like that happening quite often, and when it does it’s pretty annoying right? Well, the good news is - homeopathy can soothe your skin! Now, homeopaths have a particular view about the body and how it shows you it’s healing, it’s Hering’s Law of Cure and it says that the body heals from the inside out, from the top down and from the middle to the edges. Why’s that important when we’re thinking about skin? Because homeopaths quite like seeing things on the skin, it means the body’s balance isn’t too far out of kilter and might suggest something has come to the surface to be healed. For this reason, it’s highly recommended to visit a professional homeopath if skin issues hang around or keep coming back. Using homeopathic remedies to apply to the skin surface can often be a good approach. Here are some products you may or may not have heard of, which all have homeopathic ingredients: Arnica cream: contains arnica and soothes bruised, swollen skin fast Rescue remedy cream: contains rescue remedy plus additional flower essences which work really effectively to calm sore, itchy red skin Hopes Relief Cream: Contains a range of homeopathic ingredients plus honey and other nourishing things to soothe itching skin fast Helios graphite’s and calendula cream: great for weepy eczema or dry cracked skin which weeps Helios Urtica and calendula cream: great for soothing bites, burns and nettle stings Seven cream: homeopathic calendula plus 6 other natural ingredients including honey Weleda baby products all contain calendula, and they have a range of other balms and tinctures There are times, though, when something acute happens and taking a homeopathic remedy yourself is exactly what’s needed.
