ABOUT DOROTHY
My journey
I'm Dorothy Watt - homeopath, educator, pattern-finder and lifelong student of the natural world.
I help people reconnect with their own wisdom, trust what they notice, and discover a steadier way forward.
For over thirty years, I've been exploring the connections between health, emotions, intuition, relationships and the patterns that shape our lives.
Whether through homeopathy, teaching, mentoring, or Awaken Your Inner Compass, my work is rooted in curiosity, connection, and the belief that there's always more to discover when we slow down and pay attention.

How it began
Many years ago, I found myself struggling with recurrent infections that seemed determined to return no matter what I tried.
Each course of antibiotics helped for a while, but the symptoms kept returning. I was exhausted, frustrated, and beginning to lose hope.
Then, by chance, I met a homeopathic doctor.
For the first time, someone was interested not only in my symptoms, but in the wider picture - my experiences, my environment, my emotions, my story, and the patterns connecting them all.
That experience introduced me to homeopathy and ultimately changed the course of my life.
I've been on that journey ever since.
What's changed
Over the years, I've completely changed my life. I've learned to take responsibility for myself and my choices. I've rewritten relationships, strengthened boundaries, discovered what truly matters to me, and learned to trust myself in ways I never imagined possible.
That journey hasn't always been straightforward, but it has taught me something invaluable:
The answers we're looking for rarely come from outside ourselves.
They emerge when we learn to listen.

The things that fascinate me
I love listening to people's stories.
Not because I'm searching for answers, but because stories reveal patterns.
I'm fascinated by the patterns in our health, our relationships, our families and our communities - the hidden threads that shape our lives.
I'm endlessly curious about human behaviour, the intelligence of the body, the impact of our environment, and the subtle energies that influence how we feel and function.
When we slow down and pay attention, there's always more to see.

Science and intuition
At university I studied science and psychology, exploring both the workings of the body and the complexities of the mind.
This led naturally to a career in education, where I spent many years helping people learn, grow, and make sense of complex ideas.
Alongside this, I've always known there is more to us than can be measured or explained. I've long been fascinated by intuition, connection, and the wisdom that emerges when we pause and listen.
For me, science and intuition are not opposites.
They complement one another and together offer a fuller picture of who we are.

Listening & noticing
Nature remains one of my greatest teachers. It reminds me that growth is rarely linear, that change unfolds in its own time, and that there's wisdom to be found in paying attention.
